Redmi 9 revealed with Helio G35 and 5000mAh battery

Xiaomi India today unveiled a new addition to the Redmi lineup. They announced the launch of the Redmi 9 in India. It’s not the same as what global markets are getting as Redmi 9, that one is popular as Redmi 9 Prime in India. Rather, the newly announced Indian Redmi 9 is very identical to the Redmi 9C which did launch earlier this summer in the international markets.

The Redmi 9 for India, looks nowhere similar to the International variant but the features are quite comparable. The device features a square camera module, that includes two camera sensors. One is 13 MP  primary sensor, next to it is the 2 MP depth sensor, in the bottom has an LED flash and the fourth circle is just empty, that space is left blank just add that extra look to that square camera setup, unlike the typical vertical dual camera setup we are getting in other Redmi phones.

The selfie camera is in a waterdrop-style notch on the front screen and is of 5 MP f/2.2.Above all, there are some added AI features particularly for the portrait shots.
Talking about the display, the Xiaomi Redmi9 has a 6.53 inch LCD with HD+ resolution, 400nits of brightness and TUV Rheinland low blue light certification. Moreover, the display has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and 16001x 720 pixels resolution.

The Redmi 9 is publicized for its hefty memory capacity. This new phone comes with either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage and 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM. That is better than the Redmi 9C. Because that one only comes with a choice of 2GB RAM  and built-in storage of 32 GB. The rest of the features persist the same.
