“In times of pain, when the future is too terrifying to contemplate and the past too painful to remember, I have learned to pay attention to right now. The precise moment I was in was always the only safe place for me.”By -Julia Cameron.
As society is developing for being a bigger and a technological world, we as humans tend to forget the native meaning of life, busy in our rushy world we have forgotten
the spark in our lives, people are getting more lonely as they are engaging themselves in the corporate world,
among many social illnesses in the world, there is “depression”, this illness needs to be addressed as a crucial state. Unfortunately in our country, it is seen as a sign of psychopathy, and proper measures are not taken against this illness. According to WHO “one person dies every 40 seconds from suicide”.
Depression is a serious issue and is also curable, the state of mind of a depressed person is not only centralized to the trauma that one has gone through but also the casual approach.
Negligence and mocking act as fuel to the fire.
“Life is not just centralized to one moment that you lost, it is the moment that you rose up and stood strong”, everyone has turned in their lives where it seems like a dead-end but when we lose something then there is always a thing that we gain, er never just loose there always a thing that we earn in every situation.
Giving up and accepting it as your fate is not the solution you need to push your way out of that state by talking to your loved ones, spending time on yourself is the best way to fight depression back.
“Nothing in this world will ever be strong enough to tamper your existence”,
In this state of mind, everything seems negative, your behavior becomes irrational, and time becomes your foe, at this time one should stop and think about what is the
the true meaning of negativity, it feeds on our thoughts it doesn’t have an existence of its own, it will only affect you if you yourself allow it to.
At this time you may think “what do I do to get rid of my depression?” the answer lies within you, you and only you can take yourself out of this. Your willingness, love, compassion for life is the key, medicines won’t work if you are still thinking of the same scenarios again and again.
Another successful medicine is communication if you talk to a person about all your misery, thoughts, and points of view then this helps in clearing your clouded mind
plus it strengthens your relationship with that person, the majority of the depression cases worsen because they had no one to talk to. Isolating yourself from the world is not the
cure for it, try to heal the scars that were given to you by focusing on positive things, those scars are not worthy enough to cost you your sane. Collect yourself and try to ask yourself “is something pity, worthy enough to cause your demise”.
